After the chain has passed through the final inspection and the classification society dedicated to the project has cleared the chain and all the documents it is ready for shipment. The chain segments are then bundled up with wire slings according to the customer’s requirements.

Depending on the size of the order, the chain will then be shipped from Ramnäs by truck or for the most time by train to either of our two closest ports, Gävle or Uddevalla. From there on it will be loaded in to a ship that then will take the chain to its final destination anywhere in the world.
